Have you ever found yourself eating an entire dinner in front of the television or on your cell phone, unconscious to the foods you consumed? With a full work load and a to-do list a mile long, it is so easy for Americans to get caught up in our food abundant, diet-obsessed culture of mindless eating. In this workshop, Emily Dawn Szajda of recharj will teach us how the art of mindful eating, based on the Buddhist practice of mindfulness, can help you gain control of your eating habits and impact your overall health and wellbeing. You’ll learn how to have a better relationship with food and gain the tools to apply mindful eating practices to your everyday life. After the workshop we’ll enjoy our new seasonally-inspired bowls from sweetgreen!
